The Canon imageCLASS MF4570dn Laser Multifunction Printer offers a compact desktop solution that provides all the office functions you require.

The MF4570dn gives you numerous options when copying, faxing and scanning. Transmit documents seamlessly and quickly with Super G3 Fax, reaching speeds of approximately 33.6 Kbps. Great Printer at a Great Price

After my Lexmark 1855 with duplexer died, was looking for a printer with similar capabilities. Having a Canon i450 ink jet that I've used for several years, decided to look at their lasers.The Canon ImageCLASS MF4570dn is terrific! From standby to printing in under 10 seconds. Cleanly handles printing directly on envelopes. Sheet feed scanner is a real plus. Love being able to scan directly and quickly to PDF. Enjoy having access to a standard fax machine on the rare occasions I do need one. Ability to sheet feed for copying is a nice feature as well. Duplexes, saving paper - love to be able to easily use both sides! Added plus of having the built in network port - had used an external Jet Direct on my old printer. Easy to set up on each computer attached to your network. Application setup looks for the printer on the network.I think Canon has delivered some great features and quality at a very reasonable price. Was able to get a really good price on this unit [...]

Pretty good, but jams too often

Bought this because I needed a fast, reliable fax machine for my business. The HP color ink jet I have did everything great, except the faxing part frequently missed pages on the other end. The
Canon is fast and is a great printer, fax machine, and copier.The only problem is that sometimes when the paper comes out, it sometimes doesn't quite dispense all the way and (the last 1/2 inch is not dispensed) and this causes a jam. Easy to unjam, and it continues on until the next time...becomes annoying for our volume of work. Took it back for replacement and hoping for the best because I like it very much otherwise. very fast.

Have used this for a month. Connected with windows xp no problems. Did not use the network connection. Prints within 5 seconds. I am biased I like canon products camera, two other printers, all work well. Had HP and stopped using them because of cost of cartridge and had to buy all three colors, software glitches, etc.

Machine is Quiet! And simple to use. The only difficulty I had was installing the driver, the manual was not clear as to whether or not the unit should be on or off, prior to installing the usb cord after the software was installed on the computer.

Simply put, make sure the MF4570dn is on during the installation process, and connect the USB to your computer as instructed.

I had to call the tech department to resolve a ring tone issue with my shared fax line and the problem was resolved in minutes. The tech department was located in the USA and I actually spoke with Americans that could speak English clearly. It was a delight.

So happy with purchase!

I print a lot, but I don't need anything to be in color. I've had twenty printers (lifetime) and three of those have been laser printers. This is by far my favorite!

Love this device. A replacement for a home copier and a fax machine that uses toner and not ink cartridges. Smart too. When printing 3 pages double-sided, it knows to send page 3 as a single-sided document.
Love being able to scan multiple pages through the document handeler and have them sent to my PC as PDF scans--what a suprise.

Will this product work with a MAC and PC if I connect via my wireless router. I know it's not a "wireless" all in one but can I connect via Ethernet cable to my router? I need an All in One laser printer in my home office that I can print to from my Mac and PC and scan to the PC.

  This product does not include OCR software. When scanning you have the option to save the file in four different formats; .jpg, .tif, .bmp, and .pdf. There are programs available that will convert your .pdf files into text. However, one of these programs is not included in with the machine.
