WOW A+ awesome buy it you wont regret it

This is the Best product what else can i say it does exactly what i need and the software is easy to use very simple down to the point no extra stuff that clogs up the program it loads fast and so far all the cards i entered are perfect card scan wow what a company i could have not asked for a better product it also the hardware runs off of usb power so you don't need to plug it in to an outlet. it took me maybe 10 min to install with reading all the information on the screen. it was a bit pricey but worth every penny ten times over all you do is feed the card and it does everything for you and it also lets you add notes and search from the notes so you wont ever forget where it is. overall i was surprised with how well this works. Again it also transfers to outlook and all of the Microsoft office suite but i don't see the necessity to do that as there software is great and probably 100 times easier to use then outlook.
The only con about this program which is easily avoidable is they ask you to back up all your contacts on there server for FREE NOTHING IS FREE IN LIFE THIS GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO SEND EMAILS TO ALL YOUR CONTACTS ABOUT THERE SOFTWARE just read the prompts and you can avoid that very easily also you might want to skip all the thing you do not understand then you can always go back later and implement them as you feel necessary

Typically if you purchase hardware within the past couple of years, vendors either fix their old software to be Vista compatible for download or give you the new version.

Not CardScan. You have to re-purchase the software. Even Microsoft didn't make me purchase new Office software when I upgraded to Vista, and that's a software company!!! In fact, with the exception of a couple of really old products (2001, 2002), nobody has required me to RE-purchase software for Vista compatibility.

So be careful. Should Microsoft patch Vista (as sometimes they do) Cardscan may require you to re-purchase their software which ain't cheap!

I am in fashion and most of the business cards I collect are colored and artistically laid out. The scanner does not work on anything but the most basic business card layouts.

Cards that incorporate a lot of graphics can confuse the scanner but it will capture most of the data reasonably well. Be careful before accepting a really busy card or you may only get half of the business name. I still believe the time it saves and accuracy make it a good investment. It cuts down on all tasks where I must enter contacts. It syncs well with outlook and has a good lookup feature.
