The paper cutter needed a new cutting edge after several projects. Instead of buying a new paper cutter we purchased the part that renews the cutting edge. We were quite satisfied with the replacement part because it made our paper cutter as if it were new. It would appear that the renewal part will suffice and can be replaced several times before a new paper cutter will be necessary. We were pleased with the fast shipment and appreciate being able to order from Staples direct and have the items delivered right to our door.

This is a replacement cutter for the paper cutter we use at home. We used the origional cutting blade until it became dull and a replacement was necessary. This is a much more economical method of having a sharp cutting edge than purchasing an entire new paper cutter. It is better to have the sharp cutter to do a project because it makes the job easier and more professional than a dull one. It was a fast turn around time from ordering to receipt of the new sharp cutter we needed. The new cutter put us back to cutting clean cuts with our cutter.

I have had my Carl Professional Rotary Trimmer, which I bought from Staples, about 10 years. I have probably used at least 20 of these same refills, the Carl Relpacement B-01 Straight Blade by Carl Brand, for the rotary trimmer and they have alwsys been very sharp. I have always been very pleased with the result I got with the rotary trimmer. It produced a neat and trim look to my pictures when I trimmed using a new blade. recently, however, the Carl Replacement B-01 Straight Blades do not give as clean a trim as I was use to getting when working with my rotary trimmer. The replacement just does seem to be as sharp when I purchase them as I am use to them being when purchased. The clean trim cut is just not there and I have to buy another replacement much sooner than before. Any suggestion?

We have a old wood paper cutter. One day while on vacation we were helping our cousin cut or trim pictures for a City history book. My wife said I am going to have one of these. She told our son about it and they gave her one for a gift. We are retired so use it for fun projects.
