this new type of display shows all your work on screen, including fractions. 1st calcalator i seen do this, like writting on paper. unlike the more archaic one number at a time displays. it gives you the ability to edit an equation over and over again. button layout & color work well. display contrast ajustable. the equation history memory and replay come in handy, along with the 6 varibles and m memory storage. runs on a button cell LR44 and solar. it's protective hard cover works well. it snaps off the front and can be reconnected to the back, when in use.

I bought this calculator for my College Algebra class and I can't get the a/b/c button to work even after I push the shift button. It is too dificult to figure out even with the instruction sheet.

On initial use, even the simplest calculations would display in things like Base 25! Eventually, I corrected it, but I can't figure out why the default system was so strange.
