this new type of display shows all your work on screen, including fractions. 1st calcalator i seen do this, like writting on paper. unlike the more archaic one number at a time displays. it gives you the ability to edit an equation over and over again. button layout & color work well. display contrast ajustable. the equation history memory and replay come in handy, along with the 6 varibles and m memory storage. runs on a button cell LR44 and solar. it's protective hard cover works well. it snaps off the front and can be reconnected to the back, when in use.

    If you want to solve math problems the way that they are written or set up, this is the calculator for you. I have struggled with other calculators and setting up the equations, for instance in chemistry (stoichiometry) or simple conversion, you would have to cross multiply first, get the results, plug them in the equation on paper, then use the calculator again to solve the other parts of the equation, put the solutions together , and then come up with the final answer. What I like about this calculator, you CAN enter the problem exactly the way it is written and get your answer.

      Good Claculator for the price wish i would have just spent the extra cash to get a new graphing calculator, but i was trying to aviod it. Works way better then the texas instument calculator that was the same price. I'm useing it for College Algabra, Chemestry and my Pharmacy Calculations at work.
