This product is a good value and lasts. I look for not only comfort, but lasting power. Some brands last, but are like sandpaper. Charmin Basic is durable and does the job without falling apart, causing discomfort, or clogging up the toilet. I'm a couponer, so I have a place to store my stockpile of toilet paper. Buying large amounts of toilet paper was passed down to me from my mom. I get a panicked feeling if I get below 20 rolls of toilet paper in the closet. With that said, when you buy the 16-roll pack, you need to make sure you have a place to store it. It's well-worth the space it takes.

I was not impressed with the product - it is not rough, I will give the Charmin Co. credit for that, but, for a double roll it certainly goes very fast. I was hoping that it would last longer on the hanger before I had to put on a new roll. On the plus side, it is absorbent. The package was also easy enough to carry out. The other positive side to the package was that it broke down into smaller (sealed) lots of four. That made it easier to store. I also did not have sixteen individual rolls to find storage for.
