Buying my first MP3 player, I was looking for an inexpensive, basic model. 15 minutes after the box arrived at my office I was listening to my first download. The package came with a battery, USB cord, and ear phones so I could use it immediately. It was easy to set up and the controls are simple to use. This unit more than meets my needs for audio portablility.

I lost my Ipod and was looking for a quick fix. I absolutely cannot go a day without an mp3 player. I've owned various brands, Sansa(very good),Sony, a few off brands, etc.I had a Staples coupon and figured I'd try this after reading some decent reviews of the product. This player did not fit the bill. It was easy to add music, which is good, but my overall experience was not warm and fuzzy. The instructions that came with the player only applied to the usage of the player( volume control, etc.)For any other instructions you have to go to the website and download them. Why would any company sell a product without the full instructions for the product? This was the biggest issue for me. I played around with it and figured some things out but some people prefer to just read the instructions or at the very least have them handy.The instructions would be helpful because I can see where someone who has older computer software or isn't very computer literate may become very frustrated with the device.You need certain versions to add music to the computer. Also, the menu button freezes and is slow. It was [$] so I guess I got what I paid for it. I just thought it could be better. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone else.

        This was a Mothers Day gift from my kids and it breaks my heart that I have to return it. I don't like returning anything my children give me even if it's a gum wrapper. I have ordered a much nicer one and hope they don't see the difference. I never want to hurt my children and this hurts me for them. They spent all their money ( 3 kids), this was a great deal to them. 6 yr old twins and 11. This may not happen to everyone one but it stinks it happened at this particular time.

          This product was everything it was described as, save for one fatal flaw. It says it is a video player, but the format it uses for video is very rare and very unused. In fact, the format is believe to be created as a cheap tactic by makers of these products in china, at least from what I read at file extension sites. This product could never be a video player because it is near impossible to find videos in this format, and to find appropriate video converters without spending extra money.

            I didn't know anything about these players and just bought one, not this one, It was hard to work and had no volume control so I returned it and bought this one. It has everything I wanted on it. Its easy to load music and so easy to pick what I want to listen to. I don't think I'll ever be able to fill it up with music. It's a great buy.
