    I needed a portable DVD player to take with me on trips. I needed one that would allow me to fast forward and reverse and you can do that with this one via the remote. It holds the charge too.

        Yes it does come with a car charger. Not the typical charger, but one that will work in a vehicle. It comes with a 100-240V UL listed AC Adapter and a DC Car Adapter.
