Crayola makes the best colored pencils

I have found crayola colored pencils to be the best brand of colored pencils. The quality of the colored lead is very good and they make beautiful rich color when used. I have used them for several years with my after-school art classes.
With all colored pencils it is hard to sharpen them well. I find that small hand sharpeners give the best results. If you use wall style or electric, it can the lead to break off perhaps from the vibration. It's true of all the brands.
I wish somebody would come up with a solution for that!

Bought these hoping they would fair better than the ones I got from Rose Art, but we're having the same problem with both--once they break and you try to sharpen them, the lead often cracks repeatedly. We use them for coloring pictures as part of our homeschool curriculum, and they are okay, but not great quality.
