Doesn't Store Well, It dries out within days, Smaller packs better

I bought this expecting it to be filled with small, individual packs that my son could use slowly over time. The small packs keep indefinitely until opened. I thought that 4/pack meant 4 colors per pack, because I had purchased it that way before. Please state clearly in the description that these are 4 extra-large packs, rather than multiple smaller packs.
