about one out of every three refills that i buy for this model pen are mostly dried out at purchase. this one worked ok for a day or two and then did not work at all. with a little heat therapy and a lot of shaking I have revived it but at [$] for a refill you should not expect to be required to rework the system to make it useable. I love the pens, I own several and have given many as gifts, because they are handy to carry around and do not explode in your pocket, at least not yet, like almost every ball point pen that I have ever owned. I can't tell you how many shirts I have lost to an ink pen in my years. Almost makes you think that those geeks with their pocket protectors knew something we all needed to know. A great design and mechanics with a week ink delivery system, probably why you can't find them for sale anymore.

          Ran out of ink almost immediately. It will write a couple of words the becomes thin and then out. Some time later you can use again with the same problem.

          It is an expensive pen to perform so poorly.
