I Do buy this product again and again!!!

Product is difficult to find. Has taken several trips to Staples (& competitor) to find refills.

If you have the pen, the refills are critical.

If you have the pen, the refills are critical.

Writes as well as a PaperMate Flair, but more environmentally preferable, as only the old refill is disposed when ink runs out. Like most "environmentally conscious solutions, however, the costs are considerably higher.

Poor, quite poor quality....

Tried the product out after just purchasing the filler prior to entering professional business meeting. It worked fine..not great, but fine(purchased another filler from Staples previously....same problem). While in the meeting, the filler quit dispensing ink. What a waste. What happened to the quality of Cross? It's diminishing. I can understand one filler being of poor quality: two in a row, however? Or is it the supplier from whom Staples is purchasing these poor quality supplies? Are these 'knock-offs', perhaps packaged to appear as though they are Cross brand fillers? I won't be purcahsing Cross fillers from Staples in the future nor will I be recommending my colleagues to purchase supplies from Staples, either. By the way, your brand of legal pads are a waste, as well...poor quality, perforation is of very substandard quality. What is happening to Staples?

    Got tired of the skipping Gel Refill that came with my Cross EDGE. So I went to my closest Staples and picked up a black Fine Point Selectip refill (The Gel refill was a Medium Point). What a difference! The Selectip writes on just about anything (from Slick Postcards to extremely boring technical publications), and so far I haven't had any of the smudging that I experienced with the Gel Point. I definitely prefer the Fine Point over a Medium point (especially when I'm trying to fill in some of those dinky spaces on some of the forms I have to use in my work. Going to get a couple spares since I travel a lot.

        I have been using the porous point pens by Cross for at least 25 years. It writes like a fountain pen and is so clean and easy to use. I have about five pens placed right where I need them. Nothing compares to it.
