I have owned several Cross Tech 3 pens. You may be thinking; multiple? Yes, multiple. I am a firefighter/paramedic and the environment I write in is from the clasroom to the drill field to the emergency scenes. Cross probably did not design this pen with my job environment in mind, but it perfroms well and lasts a reasonable time. It also looks good wherever I have a writing need. When I wear one out I immediately purchase another Tech 3. I recommend this pen as it provides two color pens and a pencil in one writing instrument, compact and convienent to meet multiple needs.

I've had many multifunction pen/pencil devices in my day and this one is, by far, the best one that I've owned.

The top part comes off easily and you folks do not replacements; furthermore you cannot find refills anywhere!!

I purchased an identical pen last year and use it proudly daily. Because the pen serves me so well, I am confident that our Graduating family friend will also enjoy this pen. Lately, this model multi-function pen has included a stylus tip for use with Smart Phones and tablets.
