Staples needs to up-date the photo of this item - it's just a little out-dated, But anyway, These speakers "ROCK" in my 10' x 12' bedroom. I have them hooked up to my laptop so I can hear my movies & music in stereo phonic noise, Bass is great, volume works well & nice little blue led to add some funk to it. CA - you've done a awesome job!!!!

I purchased this system in June '07 and by September '07 there was a clicking noise when the speakers were plugged in. I called the manufacturer and was told that the speakers were shot and that they'd send me a replacement after receiving proof of puchase. [...]

        My home office speakers died during a recent move. After two weeks of dealing with no sound, I went to the local store to find speakers. These produce nearly the sound quality of the high end speakers that died.

        its an OK unit.its not very durable and the wires go bad after a while. the sound quality is good but not great, (its basic, noting more, nothing less.)

          I use it with my laptop. I set it up on my coffee table so I can hook it up when I'm home. It puts out decent sound, not great but music and movies are clear and the subwoofer puts out a good thump.

              The speakers are powered by a A/C adapter that is contained in the subwoofer. You can connect to this speaker set using a 1/8" stereo plug or RCA plugs.
