    I was originally going to purchase a logitech speaker for my wife' laptop which looked very much like the Cyber Acoustics but Staples did not have any in stock. So I bought the Cyber Acoustic speaker thinking I would exchange it if it didn't satisfy my wife. I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend them to anyone as they have increased the volume on my wife's laptop tremendously and the sound is quite good. My wife uses them mainly for Skype and not for music so I'm not sure how the frequency response would please audiophiles but for general use they are very much worthwhile and easy to intall as they are plug and play -- no software. They fit very well on the laptop screen and you can turn them on and off. A a blue light indicates when they are on and there is a volume control right near the light on the top of the speakers.

    I was worried about the clamps on this scratching my screen. The clamps are well padded so you don't have to worry about that. The speaker is lightweight and doesn't hinder working at all. I would LOVE this little guy if it just had better quality sound. But, for an inexpensive speaker, it's not bad.

    I bought this speaker system, because I work at a Front Desk, & have to pack up my Laptop, & accessories every hour & a half. The single bar design makes for an easy pack away. The sound it fine for the price.

              I'm wondering if this speaker would be useful for presenting to a group. I teach courses, generally in a classroom size room. I have found that USB speakers don't really help much unless they have an outside (electric) power connection. Does anyone have experience using this as a presentation tool in a classroom setting?
