The CyberPower CP625HG Standby uninterruptible power supply (UPS) safeguards a home office PC and other electronics (monitors, printers, scanners, speakers, fax machines, CD/DVD players and iPods) from surges, spikes, sags, brownouts and other power abnormalities. Its composite integrated circuitry offers advanced lightning protection.

The CP625HG UPS system has a capacity of 625VA/375 Watts, eight (8) NEMA 5-15R receptacles, widely-spaced to accommodate transformer-based plugs. Its compact design allows for horizontal or vertical placement, or it can be conveniently mounted on a wall. This UPS has a maintenance-free12V/5.5Ah battery, offers connectivity via one (1) HID compliant USB, provides phone/network (RJ11) line protection and EMI/RFI filters that shield against electromagnetic and radio frequency disturbances. PowerPanel® Personal Edition UPS Management software is included to monitor the vitals of the UPS and will safely shutdown the system in case of a power outage.

A Three-Year Warranty ensures that the CP625HG has passed our highest quality standards in design, assembly, material or workmanship and further protection is offered by a $100,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee.

    Bought this to use as back-up power for home entertainment system. I was tired of summer thunderstorms knocking out the power for a few seconds - just long enough to shut off the TV, Cable box, DVD player and yes, VCR, requiring reboot, restart, etc. I hooked this up to provide reliable power through those intermittent outages and so far so good. Can't say I have been in the room when one hit, but I haven't had to reset the equipment all summer. Just make sure you check wattage on your equipment before you purchase to ensure you have enough power to carry the load.

            I have bought several of the APC brand back ups. These are less expensive than the APC brand, but it's not worth the frustration of having a defective unit right out of the box. Why don't they do a quality control of these before they leave the factory? Junky product, don't bother.

                      Two days after I set my new computer up our power went off flashing 2 times before it went out completely. The alarm went off letting me shut my computer down the right way. This happens a lot where I live, it ruined my last computer. Thanks for the back up!
