The contents on the box states: Uses six AAA batteries or optional A/C adapter, therefore, instead of buying all of those batteries, I figured I would simply used the A/C adapter and just plug it in. After getting back to the office and opening the package I discovered there was NO A/C adapter included and am assuming you have to purchase it separately. I would say that the box should state: Requires six AAA batteries or optional A/C adapter can be purchased separately. I found this midleading and had to wait until the next day to finish my project, which was then behind schedule. But all-in-all, the product works great, batteries and all!

I have always owned Brother Labeler's and first time with a Dymo. I do like the compact size and font capabilities are so easy to use. My only complaint is removing the backing is hard and tape adhesive could be stronger.

The label maker is a handy tool for organizing everything from files, student cubbies, small containers with art supplies and so much more! I have created a organized drawer system where the students know exactly where to find what they are looking for even as kindergartners. The pride they feel when they can read the words and find crayons, colored pencils, erasers, spacemen, scissors, googly eyes, etc. is priceless! This product has also helped me be able to find things quickly without having to scrounge through folders, or cabinets wondering where I put things.

It needs a "clear all" button. Every time I went to make a new lable I had to back space the old one and then start new. Perhaps there is one, but I haven't found it yet.
