I occassionally have to use a typewriter, and it is nice to know Staples had the replacement ribbons readily available.

Incorrect product

Both Brother and Dataproducts ribbons do not last very long. I have not used many ribbons lately but expect to use more in the near future and I have found on a guess about 10%...Read complete review

Both Brother and Dataproducts ribbons do not last very long. I have not used many ribbons lately but expect to use more in the near future and I have found on a guess about 10% or so of both company's products are defective- stop moving about halfway through, one housing came apart on removing it when it jammed. I had bought several at one time so no longer have the old receipt [...]. Once you buy the machine you are stuck with the company.
