            I tried buying a generic toner cartridge. Biggest waste of money. Almost within a week the printing was streaky and lacked ink.

            Switched to this one and all is well again.
            Stick with the Dell brand toner.

                I have the Dell 1600N printer-it is 6 years old. this is the first time I am replacing the cartridge. I bought it from Staples because I had a coupon from my employer and it is supposed to be Dell quality. I got the cartridge and replaced it-it was easy to change. The first 25 copies were perfect, then a line appeared on the right side of the page (I was printing out a sheet for a fundraising event at my church). I was printing 150 copies. At about page 25 the cartridge started printing a black line on the right side of the page-I did not notice until all of the copies were printed. [...] Bottom Line is if you are buying a dell replacement cartridge buy it from Dell not Staples. I would like to note until this I have never had an issue with my printer.
