I have found that the Dell cartridges do not perform as well as they claim. I do not get 5,000 pages from the high-yield cartridge. The printer display shows 11% remaining, and I cannot print properly. I take the cartridge out and shake it around, and get a little more print, but about 1,000 pages fewer than claimed.

The High Yield cartridge does last much longer than the standard cartridge, but the last 30% of the cartridge printed VERY POOR QUALITY OUTPUT. Everything I printed had uneven, striped blacks and looked like poor quality fax pages. I am sticking with the standard cartridges from now on.

I use this every day to print reports, letters, and forms. I like the product, because it is so easy to install and replace and prints so well.

My biggest complaint is the expense. We have 7 printers that use this print cartridge and I am spending an inordinate amount each month.

In fact, we are thinking about changing printers.
