Firstly I am going to say why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, which is brief and not really a big deal.I have only had the monitor for 2 weeks, but i use it ALL day and its been turned on for 8-9 hours each day. Every now and then (rarely once or twice a day if that) the monitor seems to go off briefly (1.5 seconds) then back again. I am not sure if its my Video Card, because I have had problems recently with it or maybe then cable on the monitor is bad. However out of so many monitors if this is because maybe the monitor is bad, I will not tarnish the whole review because the monitor IS in fact a Good monitor for its price. And like so many other people complain slightly about this monitor the power button and settings buttons are touchy and don't light up, so they can be hard to see. This can be remedied by marking them lightly with something that makes them stand out more.The rest of the review for this monitor is fully positive. The monitor is well lit, very big and the image is crystal clear. You have the options of 3 connector types for the monitor. For those who don't know, you do NOT get a HD cable with this monitor, just a standard VGA. So you won't be able to get HD until you replace the VGA cable with a HD cable which can be bought NEW gold quality off of [@] for $5. This is my first Dell monitor, so I am looking forward to seeing how well it performs. But I would NOT shy anyone away from buying this and its great for the price.

I have owned a previous Dell 20" monitor for over 6 years. It finally started having problems. I immediately went for another Dell monitor that was 24" and figured the new LED technology would be better. I really wanted to like this monitor, but I tried every possible setting and it just looked washed out looking. I couldn't get the dense, deep colors that I got with an LCD monitor. It could be the new LED technology in its infancy, but it just didn't look very good. Good if you like a soft, non contasty look, but nothing would pop off the screen. It could be me or I could have gotten a defective unit. My recommendation is that you look carefully before you buy. I had to return the unit within the 14 day period. I have an LCD Monitor again, and I'm back in business.

      After a couple months use, I like the screen size very much. Resolution seems pretty good for what I use it for. It is especially nice for including more of a document on screen at one time. I have to review techincal drawings and it is most helpful then.

      This is a great monitor- bottom line, I was scared to go out and buy a new monitor- and waste money on dead pixels/poor brightness- and monitors white color that does not look white-

      Well, this baby solved the problem- I am very picky about color quality and white - and this also had sharpness control- this monitor is amazing-

      Fact- this is a great buy- get it - I got mine on sale- so maybe it still is-
