True to life results

Cartridges don't last long when making photos, however the quality of the pictures is well worth the price of the ink.

COLORS ARE WIERD

Daily use - business/personal. I'm ready to buy a new printer without the D*ll name. The ink replacements are too expensive. Replacements can now be found in the store vs mail, but the colors are all off, especially the blues and greens - two of the colors that I use the most.

I'm finding it difficult to believe that the in-store ink replacement is of the same quality of those that are shipped from the company. I may give it ONE test and order from the company and see if the quality improves, but I'm not hopeful.

However, If I could easily change the printer without needing assistance, I would have long ago. FYI ... When purchasing, if they are offering it for free ... think twice - you'd be better with a discount and buy your own printer.

I feel like I'm constantly wasting my money. The color ink cartridges have a bad habit of drying up early. If I don't use my priner lets say for month, I come back to it to print and it won't print anything in color. Always b/w only. Dell ink cost too much for the cartridge life to be so short. Its definitely time for me to invest in another printer.

What can I say about an ink cartridge. These tend to run out of one color and still have plenty of the others. It does pring great photos, and they doo last a while if you print on the draft setting. Unless you need bright showy graphics, set your printer on draft and these last a good while.

Does this work in a Lexmark X1100 series all in one printer?
I got the Dell number off a box of the inkjets I've previously used. For some reason I don't see the Lemark X1100 listed and when I entered Lexmark 26 (the number for the color jet) a black inkjet comes up.
