to get better results change that configuration to " Draft" and only use the "Auto" when it is only time to have a "Professional letter, document " you will get more life out of your cartridge by following these simple print rules.

    I am not a heavy user, but I have only received 20 pages from each of 2 cartridges, one the original, the second a free replacement from Dell.
    After reading the reviews it appears to be a product issue that Dell won't recognize. Their technician just told me I need to print in "Draft" to lengthen the life of the cartridge!!!

    I print out lots of documents in color, and Dell ink does a great job. It does seem that I run out of ink more quickly than I did with my old printer that used another brand. But it does a great job!
