expensive, ink disappears fast

The product is good, but a very short cartridge life when you do pictures and projects, and very expensive! I am thinking of getting a different machine because of that. I do crafts, cards, pictures and the ink just sucks dry fast like a sponge!Costly @ [$] for the black replacement cartridges, color is even higher @ almost [$], which I feel is way too much for the amount of ink you get. I may even go where they refill these old ones till I get a new copier, I am sick ! of throwing away my $ like this.. Thanks for the opportunity to let you know my feelings on your product..! Plus one more thing, Staples is the only place you can get cartridges other than on line, which is a pain in the butt.

Why cannot all brands of computers use the same size and make ink cartridges. Let them be interchangeable--we would still be purchasing our favorite brand printer and probably ink from that maker.
