I'm having to do a lot of printhead cleaning - don't know if it's because of the color or the black ink, or if it's just the printer - but I never had to do that before.

Dell printers are cheaper than HP but you pay for it with a very short cartridge life which mirrors the razor/razor blade marketing approach. They could afford to give you a free printer for the money earned on the cost of the ink. I am concerned about the compatibility of the cheaper/off brand refill cartridges with the printer to use them. This review holds for the black cartridges also.

    My family uses this ink mainly to print pictures. It has excellent color and sharp tones. The pictures look as if we had them done at the store. My only complaint would be we have to replace the cartridge often.
