You can't beat this system when it is on sale. Not only is it fast with 8gb RAM but the quad core is good too. There are two things to note.

You can't beat this system when it is on sale. Not only is it fast with 8gb RAM but the quad core is good too. There are two things to note.
1. HDD's are in raid 0. If one fails, you lose everything. I am going to contact Dell to possible change this on mine. Make a backup DVD as soon as you boot it!!! btw Dell has great support, use them.
2. Graphics card is great for facebook or games like the SIMS. other than that you may want to upgrade. c'mon Skyrim deserves better anyway..

Bottom line. Get it! and if its on sale, you can upgrade the graphics card and even buy more RAM and it'll still cost less than buying it from Dell. This machine has 3 extra pci express slots. so put in a $20 usb 3.0 card and you are future proof. If you have no idea what I just said then you wont need any upgrades and you will be more than happy with this system.

Staples answered that "no broadband" means this Dell XPS "does not have an Ethernet (broadband) card installed. There is an available PCI slot to install one if you need wired access." Can installation of the card be requested when ordering? If not, can it be purchased/installed in-store? Thanks.

I have Comcast for provider that has a coax cable connected to a eMTA box. An Ethernet cable connects from this box to the computer. (There is a phone line from the box to phone outlet). Will a Ethernet cable connect from this box directly to a Ethernet outlet on this computer? Thank you.

  This system more than meets the system requirements for Quickbooks 2012. Quickbooks 2012 recommends a 2.4ghz processor with 2GB of ram, and this system has a 3.0ghz processor with 8GB of ram, and plenty of storage space.
