    I have owned a few of these, my last one was destroyed in the tornado that demolished my office. Works great with my calendar deskpad and keeps all of my appointments and to do list clean and neat for the entire months view. Would highly recommend this product.

        Is this desk pad safe to use on a wood desk? I noticed the Artistic brand stated their pads were not recommended on laquered surfaces. I currently do not use a pad and my desk is beginning to show tiny scratches.

          The Desktex mat will work as a writing surface but may be a harder and stiffer surface than you are looking for, consider the Artistic Krystal View Desk Pad at Staples, it is a desk pad built for writing on.
