I spend a lot of time in online GUI applications, and my activities are often accompanied by online collaboration using IRC. I got tired of switching between windows (it was irritating not to be able to see both at once) so I picked up this graphics card so I could run dual monitors (one dedicated for various communications applications and one for everything else).

The card went into my motherboard's slot easily and the drivers installed quickly. (When the instructions say to intall the hardware before the drivers, they mean it though -- I tried to install the drivers first, knowing I was about to shut my comp off to install the card anyway (since I knew drivers typically require a restart) but ended up having to remove and reinstall the drivers after installing the card -- just as the instructions said. ;P )

The card-specific GUI for adjusting monitor settings was intuitive and did a great job helping me get the most out of the two monitors I'm using (one is a flatscreen, the other an older CRT I had sitting around -- they have very different settings).

I've also noticed that images load faster with the new card, and my Photoshop rendering is smoother and faster.

All in all, I'm very satisfied with my new setup. When I get ready to upgrade to even more monitors (I'm sure it'll happen eventually) I'll definitely be getting another of these.

They left one important item out of the install instructions, and I wasn't able to get any help via their support (waited on hold for 30+ minutes, and never got a reply to my E-mail to their support staff). Only when I was removing the board (and going back to the old video) did I realize what step I had missed(i.e. going back to devmgmt.msc and enabling the driver); but by then, I had given up on Diamond and was going in another direction. What is so frustrating, is that it would only have taken 1 sentance in their manual, to have prevented my issue. And obvioulsy I'm not the only one having issues (i.e. the 30+ minute waite on the phone).

Installed this card but after searching for compatable drivers to use with Windows 7. I found out that this is one of the only 9250 cards that is not compatable and there is no effort being made to get the driver compatable.

I have two Dell 5150's. The video on one quit, so I put the video card from the working one into the bad one & determined it might be the video card. Looked at Staples online and found the replacement, & verified from Dell website that it would work. Staples store accepted their website price(store was higher) and the guy in the store was a great help.
