Digital SLR -
Digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) is a digital camera that internally uses a mirror to show the image that will be captured in a viewfinder.
Advantages include:
- Seeing the image exactly as it will be captured, through the taking lens, without errors due to a viewfinder offset from the lens.
- Fast phase-detection autofocus.
- Interchangeable lenses - to select the best fit for the current photographic need, and to allow the attachment of specialized lenses.
- Larger sensor - allows better image quality, lower noise, shallower depth of field and higher sensitivity with same noise.
- Faster shutter speeds for continuous shooting, perfect for sporting events.
