      This supposedly highly rated vacuum cleaner pulled the loops on our new area rug. Luckily, we were able to return the rug (and the vacuum). The rug instructions state "no beater brush" type vacuums - I guess that's what this one is. Be wary.

          I ordered this product for the workplace which is a very busy auto repair shop. The waiting room is heavily trafficked and the floors and carpets get dirty very quickly not only with what is brought in from the outside, but with heavy black soot that is in the air from the garage.[...] It was very easy to assemble and took about 7 minutes total to put together and read the instructions. I used the vacuum and all attachments immediately. I collected the equivalent of 4 cups of fine black soot in one useage. What a powerful vacuum! I would buy one again in an instant!
