Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils are standard number 2 soft-lead pencils that are comfortable to grasp. They are tipped with smudge-free rubber erasers and are easy to sharpen. These writing implements are ideal for filling out standardized forms that must be filled out in pencil as well as for general office use.

Ease of Use
Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils are easy to sharpen with a regular or an electric pencil sharpener. They feature traditional hexagonal yellow cedar barrels that are easy to grasp and hold.

Clear Writing
The soft lead in each Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencil writes clearly and is just the right hardness for most common uses. When you need to correct something, you can just use the attached latex-free rubber eraser.

You get what you pay for. This pencil is a bit more expensive than others, but it is worth every penny. It's about the value; you pay a bit more for it, but it lasts longer, doesn't shred/break when being sharpened (so you don't need to resharpen it). This is the best pencil ever.

It writes smoothly on a variety of papers, with a strong, visible line. The wood is comfortable to hold, it doesn't feel rubbery or bend like other pencils. The eraser actually erases cleanly, unlike other erasers that either crumble when you use them or smudge the paper.

These pencils are far superior to all the others I have been buying for work. I am able to sharpen them quickly with our electric pencil sharpener and the lead inside the pencils is not broken,requiring resharpening frequently. The wood is very good quality. My only complaint is they are a bit pricey for just twelve pencils.

This is a very frustrating pencil. The lead is all fractured inside the pencil, so often when you sharpen it, the lead just falls out from deeper in the pencil. I'll be looking for better quality elsewhere.
