Easily Indentified as Mommy's Pencil

Being a homeschool mom, quality is extremely important to me. Anyone who's tried different pencils is familiar with the superior quality of Ticonderoga. So, when I saw this pink version on sale, I just had to get a pack. I'm constantly having my kid's commandeer my own writing instruments, so this is the perfect way to make a visual distinction between kid stuff and mommy's stuff. Besides that, I get the same ridiculous writing quality of Ticonderoga and they're cute, adding just a little brightness to my day. They were a bit expensive, but that's not a big deal, as they're only for me.

Dixon Ticonderoga Pink Edition Pencils offer consistenly high quality, while supporting a cause.

Other lesser brands tend to have broken leads that break off while sharpening, causing one to sharpen to the nibs in short order. We do go through a lot of pencils, so this is speaking from experience.

Our family goes through maybe a dozen DT's per month, used at both home and at the office.

Supporting cancer research is a great conversation starter both with co-workers and with clients. Everyone knows someone who has a family member who suffered through a painful cancer trial.

We also send them abroad to relatives and friends. They find the unique "American Style" of pencil with the little eraser at the top, quaint:-)

They also appreciate how Americans are so fond of getting behind causes, trying to make a difference in some small way.
