Once I "taught" the software and tranied myself to speak slowly and clearly (which has benefits over the phone and face to face), this software works very well. Surprisely accurate transcription and easy to use interface.

Theonly reaon i marked itdown was becuase I had to go online and download the 64 bit version, which took forever cause it was a 1.17GB file

I purchased this product for my son, who hates to write essays. Just after buying the product I also purchased a better USB mic for him to use. The product ever since then requires him to set up either mic each and every time, before it will work at all. The last update took 34 minutes on a T1 line. I regularly have to play with the program just to get it to work reliably. This was supposed to help my son with his homework, instead it's more of a headache for me. Our last computer was a Mac. It had built in voice recognition software as part of the OS. We had no problems with it. It also would read back what you wrote, dragon does not. This is what I get for switching.
