We use a heavy duty shipping scale (300 lbs limit) which requires a 9 volt battery. The Duracel brand is the only battery that stands up to the demands of multiple daily usage. We've tried budget batteries and some other name brands, but we come back to Duracel.

A nine volt flat battery is pretty basic. I could not find any rechargable 9 volt batteries, but I needed one for my smoke detector now so I had to accept the next best choice. With so many simple devices that could use a rechargable battery, you can never find one easily, especially 9 volt flat size

I did eventually find a 9 volt rechargable battery, but I had to special order it from Radio Shack.

This product is used in a CO detector, smoke detectors and a hand held mic. Duracell batteries last the longest and are more "durable" than any other battery.

I find Duracell batteries more reliable, and less inclined to leak, I use these mostly in smoke detectors, remotes and electronics where long life and corrosion resistance are of importance.
