I purchased this product as a replacement for batteries that had lost their performance. I use a digital camera that requires two AA batteries, and the 2650mAh lasts longer and the camera performs faster than before. That equates to more photos and less time between shots.

It seems batteries need to be taken out of charger ASAP post charging, otherwise liongevity decreases dramatically.

              No, they don't require a quick charger. You should be able to use a variety of chargers, although the quality can vary. Some of the really fast chargers get the batteries hot and may actually limit their life. I prefer to stay away from the super fast chargers & sometimes mix it up and use a slow trickle charger to top my batteries off. It also pays to pay attention to whether the charger requires you to work in pairs, as the batteries may not always drain evenly (or you may have a device that needs an odd number). And be careful not to mix battery types just to make a pair - using different brands and capacities (mAh values) can result in poor charges or damage to the batteries.
