As of 12/15/08 the website shows these are 2650 mAh but they are 2000 mAh. Pre-charged NiMH are the only way to go. Normal NiMH batteries self discharge away 15 - 20% of there charge in the first 24 hours and then 1% a day after that. These hold 85% of there power after a year! Be careful of charges that charge batteries in an hour. These decrease the overall life of the batteries. Order the La Crosse BC900 and you won’t be sorry. I also use this product with Lenmar adapters to turn AA into C and D batteries (Item 632623 & 632624). They work great.

These are not as good as they should be.

These batteries are re-badged Rayovac Hybrids. They do not keep charged as long as the previous Made in Japan unit. They do not seem to last as long when in use.

These batteries are re-badged Rayovac Hybrids. They do not keep charged as long as the previous Made in Japan unit. They do not seem to last as long when in use.

I charge them using my lacrosse charger and while charging times are the same, the discharge is not.

Duracell is cutting costs and hoping you will not notice.

I would recommend that you check the back of the package before you purchase.

They are not worth the inflated price they are asking. Be aware.

Buy enloop batteries if you want reliability.

The only bad thing I could find is the upfront cost, but in the long run you will save 100 times over especially if you have kids with toys that take batteries. Just make sure you have double of what you need and you will never have to buy them again.
