I own many toys and electronics that require AAA batteries. I like to have a supply on hand. Having a large package of Duracell in my drawer prevents my grandchildren from a disappointment when their toy fails to opperate because the batteries have gone dead. The long shelf life is a great asset because I don't need to be concern that the batteries have gone dead just setting in my drawer which in itself would cause an additional disappointment not to mention the waste of money. Having the batteries available is not just for toys but for some of my electronics. It seems that one of the most disappointing things is when the batteries go dead (just at the wrong time)in a digital camera. Again having a realiable supply on hand becomes priceless.

I was told that I would get my rebate for this through an email I did not. I will not purchase anything and receive it supposedly in this manner from staples again. MY mother in law did not have an email and they told me that I could register her on mine and she should get hers as well. I do not have them.Item was overpriced but thought it would be a great deal if it was free except for the taxes and ink to print the rebates.
I was told i could do so from an associate/manager. Someone needs to know what to do or how to be honest. I shop there alot but now I am currently looking at other resources due to the dishonesty over the rebates. I like a store who can at least state yes or no and not jerk you around other persons who I know purchased the product did not give an email address and they got their rebate in the mail. As
for myself and an older person who lives on a fixed income we paid about $40 for the batteries and did not get anything that we were promised.
Good luck to others in the future.

    We all needs batteries for everyday survival.
    To have reliable portable power sources is important. especially for sensitive and pricey
    electronics. Once I used no name brand for my
    new flash light, I ended up throwing away the unit, due to battery leakage that destroy the circuit.
    At the end, it cost me more money because the
    quality of the batteries is not good.
    Therefore, Duracell with their 7 year shelf life technology would be a good choice for all consumer
    electronics application.

        I use these batteries for everything. They last a very long time. Except in my constantly used hand soap dispenser.it gets constant use but still last 3-4 weeks. I use these batteries at Christmas then after Christmas put in a drawer then use all the rest out the year. By using staples full refund offer I save so much money. I use these batteries in all our business. Electronics because I know the electronic product will always be ready when they are needed in the customers home. This is so very important. I also use in my cameras and clocks. By using Duracell I Jon I won.t be always replacing the batteries.
