I like that I can weigh packages up to 50 pounds without a problem. The scale is bulky, but what else do you expect from a scale that can weigh packages up to 50 lbs.? This scale is excellent in giving you 1/2-1 lb. readings. If you're looking for precise readings, such as 19 lbs. 7 oz., then this isn't for you. The only downside to this is that it doesn't give measurements in ounces. However, most methods of shipping don't necessarily require that.

The scale is easy to use - however, DO NOT pick it up by the base. The edges are razor sharp. I have to be sure this thing is not out when the grandchildren come.

I would not have bought it had I known. I'm having someone alter it, rather than go thru returning it. I wrote the company but it had to be snail mail - they had no email or phone number that I could find.

                Absolutely amazing product! You put something on it, *anything* under 50 pounds mind you, and it will tell you how much it weighs. Books, rocks, cats, empty toner cartridges... anything! I'm glad I bought this so I can tell how heavy my stuff is.
