I bought the paper airplane project kit as a gift for my grandson for Christmas. The age on the box said it is for 8 years and up, however, my grandson is only five but loves paper airplanes. I figured with a little supervision it would be good for him. He loves all the different styles and paper patterns and some of them are simple enough for him to do himself. I also was looking for something with enough materials to include other children and this has proved to be a perfect choice for that. The item was worth what I paid for the entertainment he has gotten from it.

I bought this for my 9 year old son as a Valentines gift. He was so excited when he saw the box but soon was in tears--the paper is beautiful, similar to origami paper but the instructions were so difficult he gave up almost immediately. I put one of the planes together for him and I had to really concentrate--oh, I am an engineer by the way. The instructions call for precise cuts at very specific points on the plane, glue at very precise places and multiply overlapping folds. This would be fun for an adult who has the time but these planes are not easy and definitely not for children under 15.

I gave the Easy Paper Airplane kit to my 37 year old nephew and to my 60 year old brother for Christmas. Both of them loved it! They had a blast making the airplanes together and racing them once finished. A great gift for any age!

What a blast from a the past. Very thoughtful of my kids to give me a gift I can relate to. Usually I get some new tech device and it sits around til I get the nerve to test it out. Something I can do with my hands without typing.
