The hard drive on my computer crashed and I took it to Staples to have it looked. A nice young man named James was working. I was a little worried about taking my computer in without my husband because I don't know anything about them. James walked me through everything. When the time came to decide if I wanted to fix or buy a new one, he was very helpful. He explained everything at my "level" without making me feel like an idiot and answered all of my questions. The next time something happens I know exactly where to take it and if I need a new one, I will definitely come to Staples. The decision to fix my computer was made as it was the best choice for me and I am so happy to have my old friend back. I am so happy with my experience that I have told all of my friends and family about it and I will not hesitate to come back.

Staples tech people do not seem to be professional techs and are required to both do customer tech work and serve customers on the floor at the same time. In my case, the store manager told the tech employee to stop spending time diagnosing my computer when the problem was not found quickly. The only positive thing I have to say is that I demanded my money back and received it. I then took my computer to a real tech shop and they found the problem.

Always helpful and courteous. Once the problem was determined, the technician gave me an understandable explanation. The only thing better would have been the existence of a replacement part. I wound up buying a refurbished tower.

Fixed everything

Explained everything fully, and took the time to make sure I understood what was going to be done. Helped me make a backup of my documents to a flash drive, and then started the work. I dropped it off at night, 2 days before Christmas. It wasn't done until after Christmas, but that was fine with me. The computer runs much faster, and they were able to get rid of the malware on it, that Malwarebytes, Microsoft Security Essentials, MacAffee, and Scanbot could not find to remove. I was very pleased.
