This Eclipse hand-held bar code reader uses a single-line scan pattern to capture codes efficiently and keep your register line moving. The scanner attaches via USB cable to your computer, register, or terminal, so data moves from the reader to your system quickly, making the checkout process smooth and simple.
Scan up to 72 bar codes per second with this Eclipse hand-held bar code reader. The CCD image sensor can read codes at 4 mil resolution and that have a 0.35 minimum print contrast, so even tiny bar code labels on component parts get registered without a problem.
Automatic Mode Switching
This Eclipse hand-held bar code reader switches modes from pulse scanning to continuous scanning when a bar code comes into its field of view. With a yaw of 52 degrees, a pitch of 68 degrees, and a roll of 42 degrees, the scanner recognizes and decodes labels even when they aren't straight-on.
The comfortable grip of this Eclipse hand-held bar code reader makes it easy to hold for hours on end when you're in the midst of a busy retail event or inputting inventory as it comes into the warehouse. The scanner can handle drops of up to 5 feet, so accidental slips aren't a big problem.
