Many users will choose this product because of its self-claimed compostability. Green is good.

Please check the manufacturer's website for a qualification to that claim. http://www.ecoproducts.com/compost.html

Per the website, these are only compostable in municipal facilities, not in your home compost pile.

If you are a home composter, and your town doesn't have a municipal composter, these cups may not be worthwhile for you.

We have a small break room in our office, and if we need to use disposable cups for our cold beverages, we use these. We're especially happy that these cups are made out of "100% U.S. - grown corn." They're a great size and feel good to the touch.
