Elecard Converter Studio AVC HD Edition is a program for movie file conversion from AVCHD to MPEG-2 HDV, MPEG-2 DVD, FLV compatible formats. Owners of AVCHD Camcorders (for example, Sony HDR-SR1E, Panasonic HDC-SD1) will find it a useful product which allows them to convert the footage from their cameras into format supported by their favorite editing software.

• Converter Studio AVC HD Edition is a part of our Convert Studio product line and is designed to convert video files from AVCHD to MPEG-2 HDV.
• There are four product editions available: Elecard Converter Studio, Elecard Converter Studio AVC HD, Elecard Converter Studio Pro, and Elecard Converter Studio ProHD.
• Pro and ProHD editions provide additional funcitonality as compared to the standard version of Elecard Converter Studio.
• Main features - Extension support: HD 1920x1080 and higher - Two-pass MPEG-2 encoding: significantly improves the quality and makes encoding with the set filesize possible.
• MPEG-1 Layer II audio encoding: now you'll also have a superior audio quality together with high quality video. - Extended access to the settings of different components: People that need full control over the settings will like this feature.
• Multiplexing into MPEG-PS, AVI with Elementary Stream saving: a wide variety of file formats and the option of Elementary Stream saving makes all future work with the files a lot easier
• Direct copying of video and audio streams: enables you to copy an original stream from an input file to an output file without conversion, thus making the encoding process faster without any quality loss
• Set of default profiles for optimal encoding: by using default profiles, you can create media files compatible with different devices. - Creating, editing and saving profiles: if you are not satisfied with the default profiles, you can create one.
