After having my cell phone battery quit twice after nine hours, I wanted a device that could provide backup power to the cell phone while also being able to recharge it. The XP2000 from XpalPower and Energizer does just that and the unit has enough power for three cell phone recharges before it needs to be recharged again by plugging the XP2000 into a free USB port with the included cable. As my cell phone is an older model, I did have to purchase a different power tip for it but the XpalPower website had the tip I needed and once you register the product, you can get up to two tips per year for $3.95 shipping and handling. Worked as expected. My iphone's battery was down to 10%. Within 2 hours, my iphone had a full charge. If you're on the road this is a great tool to have on hand. Thought not difficult to figure out how to use, documentation could be better. Little if any discussion how to use the the device. However the manufacture's web site (XPAL) has a good demonstration video. Note: Although this device is marketed with Energizer packaging it is actually manufactured by XPAL ([@])It's important to note that this does not come with an AC adapter, but with a USB cable. So you can only charge this via a computer's USB port or with an AC adapter that has a USB output.The device comes with several tips that you can use on different devices including iphone/ipod, mini USB. According to XPAL, once you register your device you can receive up to two free tips per year.
