Being retired a member of an ATV Club and treasurer of the club, I use this product to print flyers and all kind of documents. I also make my own greetings cards which comes out clear and beautiful with this product. I also print my own photos from my digital camera and make copies for my friends and relatives, the colors are bright and vibrant. I receive many compliments for my work. The only thing that's not so great is the price. I wish it would come on sale once in a while because it's expensive.

It IS easy to replace but the issue is that I am constantly doing the replacement! The HP spoiled me with 940XL one cartridge printing 2200 pages when comparing the same printed page system that all brands use. However, at least the Epson is in working order and since it took HP a very long time to write the software for the XP 64bit Professional-my all-in-one became a three-in-one so I suddenly needed a scanner. So, to handle my need for scanner, I figured I might as well get a printer to use as back up rather than scanner only so lately I have been buying Epson ink since I bought yet another HP-8500 All-In-One, with box saying it would work with 64bitProfessional but then software would not load and during remote session, the HP tech deleted my NJ location HP software and now it cannot be re-installed by any tech anywhere that I have contacted so far and this represents many hours of calls and remote sessions. I guess there are troubles with every brand for something but HP has economical ink market cornered. Their software leaves much to be desired. So much for the Epson ink review! The Epson ink is getting used and replaced a lot and I just ordered more tonight as I realized I might need more by Monday. I just replaced cartridges tonight so that gives you an idea of my ink usage. I am pining away for my HP 8500 as I write this-annoys the..... out of me.Bye, S
Yes, and it became a surprising component of using the ink for this machine. While there is a manual setting to adjust the amount of ink for various types of print job-less ink for page with images rather than simple text, it became quite an education regarding how very wet a sheet may be, especially following a 2-sided printed page, rather than one-sided, which does not usually create a wet problem. This, I find to be a problem associated with this particular brand of ink and extra care is needed while the pages are wet. Appropriate question!
