This is the second printer we have purchased. Thought the problem with the first one was just a bad part. Now that we have the second one and it does the same thing we called for warranty assistance. We were directed to the manufacturer for tech support. After taking me through some diagnostics they decided there wasn't anything wrong with the printer that jams, print head moves so freely that it won't print properly. They told me that they couldn't help me since it was testing okay. Never said there was a problem with the information it receives just the mechanics of actually printing the information. Mechanical issues.

Excellent Printer

I bought Epson LX-300+ (predecessor of LX-300+II) about 10 years ago. Used it for a few years but got stolen. Just bought LX-300+II. Great, durable printer. Very stylish and compact. I use it with WP 5.1 for DOS. Per its user manual, graphic resolution is 240x144 dpi. From the way it prints NLQ, resolution may be more than that (my guess). It could be a typo in manual.

If my invoices are individual 2-part forms that do not have the tractor holes on each side will i have to put each invoice in by hand or is there a tray that i can put a stack of invoices in that will feed automatically?

  This printer has the standard friction for manual insertion of rear in, top out; for the push-pull tractor. It is not listed that it will work with regular letter sized paper without pin feed. If you are looking for an Impact printer, may I suggest the Staples item number 818466, Lexmark Impact S305 Inkjet All-in-One Printer.

I realize that this printer has the ability to print 5-part form paper with the detachable sides with holes (I assume that is what "9 pin technology" is). I'm curious if it can print paper without those detachable sides. I'm interested in using this product for 5 part forms, but I have several different types of forms, and not all of the forms have detachable sides. Thank you for your help.
