I use this product often just to print out my E-mails. Also, I make all my own cards, do scrap booking, edit and print photos. I find the colors are excellent. I think the main negative is that for high quality color, it does take a lot of ink.
I have learned next time I buy a printer, to also check on the quantity of ink used for the purposes I will be using them for.

I dont like that Epson put a chip on these cartridges. It estimates by time the amount of ink left in the cartridge. So far it has been way off, either saying I am out of ink, even though there is plenty left. Or saying there is 90% left when it is completely out. It is quite mind blowing how much I spent on the printer only to spend yet another fortune on the ink itself.

I will now be looking for a "Chip Eraser".

However I probably will buy another Epson at some point. One without Chip technology.

    Not happy with print quality of ink. The ink looks very dull even after I cleaned the printer heads several times. The ink smears while printing which was very frustrating when printing important documents that didn't look clear or had ink lines running across it. Also the ink did not last as long as it normally does. Almost as if the ink had been watered down. Poor quality.
