I use my printer for graduate school papers and for personal and church business. Though I am frustrated by the rapid and uninterrupted rise in the cost of brand name ink cartridges, I still feel more comfortable using them than any off-brand cartridges. I've had no printing problems with Epson inks.

I've had it with this inadequate product. It's too expensive for what you get. They even program the printer to use up the color cartidges when you are printing black. Sure you can go in every time you print and select black only but the color still seems to go down even by having to take this extra step. Price keeps climbing but product life seems shorter. I think they are short filling the cartridges. I've been buying knock off cartridges to save money and have noticed no difference in quality so why should I pay more for Epson cartridges? And good old Epson put a default in the printer that forces you to go through the extra hurdle of clicking that you are aware that you are not using their cartridge EVERY time you print. Epson does everything in their power to make it difficult to work if you don't use their product. Furthermore, I waste more time cleaning the printing heads, which further uses up my ink. Then I have to toss what I just printed wasting paper. As an example, yesterday I had to clean the stupid printer heads 9 times!!! I'm going to toss this Epson CX6600 printer in the garbage where it belongs and purchase a LazerJet. I'm really sick and tired of being scammed by these printer manufacturers that do nothing but think of ways to weasel more money out of you. I make it my mission to tell folks NOT to buy Epson. I had to clean up this message in order for it to go through because I had so much profanity in it. The profanity should be allowed to reflect on my true feelings about this product and Epson. I'm sure you won't post this negative response, so I'm going to go onto websites where folks can alert the public to producers of inferior products. No, I don't really have the time to do this but I'm going to make it my mission regardless. That is how angry I am.
Comments about Epson T044420 Yellow Ink Cartridge:
I suppose this Write a Review program is good customer relations for much you sell in your stores. But some items, a color cartridge for a printer being a good example--a request for a review is, well ... kinda silly. Some things are just commodities, and don't belong in this type program.
I can tell you this, however. The color inside the cartridge was as labeled, and so far at least, it has not leaked.
