Great prints, but cartridge life issues

This ink is great for all prints including high gloss digital photos, however the cartridges are expensive, especially since there is still ink in the cartridge after my printer indicates it is empty. Shake...Read complete review

This ink is great for all prints including high gloss digital photos, however the cartridges are expensive, especially since there is still ink in the cartridge after my printer indicates it is empty. Shake the cartridge and there is plenty of UNUSABLE ink left. I'm not sure if this still is an issue with Epson's newer printers, however 3 years ago this was a common issue with Espon printers that used this ink (black as well as the other 5 color cartridges).

      Cartridge life appears to be shorter than with other brands. Really hard to gauge in every day usage, but I'd sure like to see cost per copy estimates from the manufacturer. Maybe it isnt an issue with the amount of ink expended but merely not enough ink for the money
