epson claria inks should only be used with epson paper, or red river paper. these inks will not work properly with any other paper because they lay on the surface, and don't get absorbed to the under layers like they are supposed to. the cartridge life may be short depending on how you use them. (i find the yellow runs out the fastest.) and though i thought that having to replace one at a time might save me money, it turns out that the other colors will run out too soon after, so it's worth springing for the multipack.
