Haven't had the Epson "All In One" that long and have only printed some Xmas pictures which were not as sharp as I had hoped but ok. Already having to replace 2 High capacity ink cartridges which has surprised me and for some reason I am not able to print "black only" documents if color cartridges run out but that may be a glitch in the MAC computer and I need to contact Apple. I do feel the cartridges are WAY TOO expensive at almost $22.00 per color cartridge, even if it is marked high capacity. There is no average # of pages for this high capacity usages as compared to a regular ink cartridge. I read several reviews and Epson had good reviews. My HP worked GREAT, customer service was a pain so I decided to switch after the HP died after 4 years. We'll see, my verdict is still in the air. Documents print well, haven't decided on photo quality just yet but cartridges too expensive.

Probably half of the stuff I print on my Epson Work Force 840 is only for temporary use and gets thrown away after its usefulness as a reminder expires. I don't know if it a function of the printer or the ink catridge but there is a need and probably a market for an economy grade printing function. I already use one of the paper trays for paper already printed on one side to enable me to use the second side for non-important and throw-away documents. Refilling empty ink cartridges has never worked very well for me.

well, the Epson has lasted longer than the 3 HP's we've had...love the blue tooth and 3 functions..fax, copy, print, .photo print, scan, it does it all. It does color and black and white... but the grey scale is really neat. It can take my smart phone..and print, which I've never done before, and it was easy to set up. My friends can come over and print from their computers fairly daily. . I think anyone who wants a small footprint, reliable, no kinks in (cannot find ink" errors that HP had all the time, you'll be fairly happy. I like the laser, but it doesn't do color, but the photo's come out really well.

It is easy to load paper, easy to load ink, it hasn't had any error's that drive you nuts. I think on the whole it beats

Had HP products in the past, but had printer problems quite often. Read reviews and saw Epson printer on sale at Staples and decided to give it a try. BEST PRINTER I HAVE EVER USED! Installation for wireless printing was easy to set up and I print from three different printers. Cartridges are simple to replace and the XL do last longer. Good deal for the money. Overall quality is very, very good. Doing photos from pictures taken with phone and digital camera is simple with basic programs. Highly recommend the Epson printers and inks.

  I apologize for the manufacture Epson does not list on their website the cartridge yields for specific print sizes, I called Epson at (800) 463-7766, and was able to retrieve the approximate yields, for the color multi-pack this yields 755 pages per color, and the black yields 945 pages.
